The Framingham Housing Authority is Hereby Soliciting Sealed Bids for the Provision of on-call Painting Service The Contract shall be for a period of one (1) year with an option to extend for one (1) additional year, not to exceed $75,000 in total. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty (30) working days after the date set for the opening thereof. A 5% bid bond (valued at 5% of the total value of the bid) is required. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 50% payment bond upon award of the contract. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A, et seq. and the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39S. The Framingham Housing Authority is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Authority.
