Recreation Center Refresh LSNS Consulting LLC will be awarded a purchase order in the amount of $99,443.16 ($42,186.46 for painting project and $57,256.70 for flooring project). ProCom Flooring Inc will be awarded a purchase order in the amount of $9,200 for the mirror project. The Campus Recreation Center has been open since 2008 with little upkeep or changes made to the facility over the last 14+ years. Although construction of a new facility is in the works (phase 1 expected to begin in 2023 with a 36 month turnaround, if construction is on schedule), due to high traffic/use and normal wear and tear, needed repairs/replacements and additions are a must for this facility. This facility will no doubt serve, in some form or fashion, the campus community even after the construction of the new facility providing space for students for years to come. This project would include painting of the interior of the facility, replacing rubber flooring, removal of carpet and replaced with rubber flooring, and mirror replacement.
