Renovation of a fire / police facility in Moundsville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The project involves renovation to an existing building including, but not limited to, sprinkler addition, life safety improvements, and general construction upgrades. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor's Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. An executed WV Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit must be included in the proposal. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days.
