Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glenview, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a library; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 8, 2022, the project looks to be awarded late-September, with a targeted 10/4/22 commencement. Glenview Public Library Facade Planter and Sidewalk Repair Project. The substantial completion date for this scope of work is to be no later than December 1, 2022. Bids for preparation and execution of a Facade Planter and Sidewalk repair project. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of receipt. Library Board project approval is anticipated to occur at the September 26, 2022, meeting of the Board of Trustees. Commencement of the work on the project shall be to the discretion of Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 48, Section 395S - 1-12). Any comments or questions must be submitted via email, to Facilities Manager Mark Depa at Mdepa@glenviewpl.org no later than August 24, 2022, by 2:00 p.m. local time. Any clarifications or revisions to the scope or specifications will be issued by the Library in the form of an addendum.
