It is the intent of the Village of Glenview to contract with a reputable contractor to perform annual Underground Storage Tank (UST) testing/inspections required by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshall. Bid Bond 5% The term of the contract shall be for three (3) year from the date of award. The Village reserves the right to renew this contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, subject to acceptable performance by the Contractor. At the end of any contract term, the Village reserves the right to extend this contract for a period of up to sixty (60) days for the purpose of getting a new contract in place The Village reserves the right to accept the Quote(s) that is, in their judgment, the best and most favorable to the interests of the Village and the public; to reject the low Price Quote; to accept any item to any Quote; to reject any and all Quotes; to accept and incorporate corrections, clarifications or modifications following the opening of the Quotes when to do so would not, in the Village's opinion, prejudice the quote process or create any improper advantage to any Quoter; and to waive irregularities and informalities in the quoting process or in any Quote submitted; provided, however, that the waiver of any prior defect or informality shall not be considered a waiver of any future or similar defects or informalities, and Quoters should not rely upon, or anticipate, such waivers in submitting the Quotes. The enforcement of this Reservation of Rights by the Village shall not be considered an alteration of the quotes.
