Renovation of a mixed-use development in Alameda, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to seek out interested vendors, capable of fulfilling the requirement. 2. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any orders or a contract. 3. San Francisco VA Medical Center is seeking construction at the facilities of Alameda Point CA. 4. The Contractor shall provide a Full Design-Build requirement consistent with FAR 36.3 to accomplish basic renovations to facilitate an upgrade to buildings 407, 272, and 499. 5. Scope of work: Electrical Service: Assess and evaluate existing electrical system layout and determine serviceability of conduit assembly and cables. Coordinate with Alameda Municipal Power to confirm and approve medium voltage point of connection. The Contractor Shall obtain all permits and inspections required for the work and shall pay all costs and fees thereof including AMP s Contribution to construction cost. Remove existing underground medium voltage from AMP POC to main building 407 and install with new and upgrade duct banks and conduit assemblies as needed. Supply and install: 200A capacity main with one pad mounted transformer and meter at building 407,100A sub-panels at building 272 and 499, upgrade interior panels as needed, and restore affected pavements and landscape. Remove deenergized generator, controls, automatic transfer switch, fuel storage tank, fluids wiring, panels, and wall racks in building 499. Repair walls, ceiling and floor affected by the removals. Repairs to match adjacent surfaces. Protect the structure, finishes, and adjacent materials not indicated or scheduled to be removed. Telecommunications: Install a Point-to-Point telecommunications system between the existing roof top located at 2401 Monarch Street #23, Alameda Point, CA and Building 407, Alameda Point CA. Cable Infrastructure at Building 2401 Monarch. St #23 requirement include Box Cat6 data cable; 2 X19 rack with shelf; 24 port patch panel; (18) Cat6 data jacks; (5) port SMB s. Data Infrastructure at Building 407 requirement include2 X19 equipment rack; 24 port patch panel; A 3/4 wire molding; test (9) Cat6 cables; termination and testing (1) Cat6 for Point-to-Point hardware; Cisco Meraki MX67 Security Appliance; Cisco Meraki Secure AD-WAN Plus Warranty; Cisco Meraki Cloud Managed MS 120-24P Switch; Cisco Meraki Enterprise Subscription Warranty; Cisco Meraki MR 36Wireless Access Point Wave 2 Wi-Fi 6 2.4 GHz 5GHz; Cisco Meraki Enterprise Cloud Controller Subscription; and Mikro Tik Cube Lite60 CPE Wireless Hardware; Cisco Meraki Hardware Installation and Programming. 6. Location of work: Alameda Point at 2451 Monarch Street, buildings 407, 272, and 499, Alameda CA, 94501 7. The period of performance is 270 days after issuance of notice to proceed. 8. IAW FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: Between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, Size Standard: $39.5M.
