California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (University), a campus of the California State University (CSU) system, is proposing to retain the services of one or more firms with verifiable experience in Structural Engineering Consultant Services, who meet all requirements of the RFQ, to assist the University, as needed, on a project by project basis. This RFQ and any resulting Task Order Service Agreement (TOSA) is not project specific. When a TOSA vendor is utilized, most work involves minor capital projects (projects with an all-inclusive total value of $929,000 or less, but there may be an occasional use of a TOSA vendor to perform supporting services (but not a lead role) on major capital projects. This RFQ describes a wide range of tasks which the selected vendor(s) may be asked to perform, but the entire range of tasks will not be utilized on any one individual project. Instead, the University will identify the specific tasks required for each project on a piecemeal or "a la carte" basis. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
