Bids for Public Works will not be considered or accepted unless the bid is accompanied by bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and any Alternates. Other leaks are due to age of the roof. Grambling State wants to have the existing roof replaced with a TPO roofing system. The roof's area is about 7,800 square feet. Grambling State extends this bid to cover all labor, material, and equipment required. The scope of work for the roof replacement is below. o Remove and dispose of the 3-ply built-up roofing. o Remove the existing 1" ISO board insulation. o Detach the condenser units that are present. o Replace the insulation with 1" ISO board. o Install all (7) roof PVC/ABS roof drain and PVC/TPO curb flashing (about 900 feet) that is required. o Install TPO roofing system o Inspect finished product and dispose of all debris.
