Renovation of a power facility in Oakland, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

As of Dec 8 the project did not received bids. Project is due for resolicitation, current timeline for it is unknown. Last Day for Questions - (Wed, Nov 23rd) project consists generally of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services and supervision required to upgrade 12.47kV circuit from Port main substation "SS-C-51" to "SS-R-14" and upgrade 12.47kV circuit "#2" from SS-R-14 to Vukasin Way including associated overhead and underground work in order to provide a functional system with upgraded capacity, and performing all associated work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. To bid this Contract, the prime contractor must hold a California Class A contractor's license. The prime contractor or the subcontractors who will perform the electrical work must hold a California Class C-10 contractor's license. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded any contract for the project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labour Code section 1725.5, with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labour Code section 1771.1(a). This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. This contract is subject to prevailing wage provisions, as specified in Document 00100, Invitation to Bid, and Document 00200, Instructions to Bidders, of the Project Manual. The number of attendees on site at any given time will be limited. The amount of time that attendees are allowed on site will be limited. The use of face coverings and gloves, and compliance with social distancing requirements, will be mandatory. The Port will provide additional details on the site visit safety protocols to bidders who register for the tour. The Port will not take questions during the site tour; any questions should be emailed to the Project Engineer following the tour. The Port will provide its responses to any such questions via the Log of Responses to Bidder Questions. For further information pertaining to the pre Bid conference and Site tours, and for information pertaining to other requirements of this project, including the Port's Non-Discrimination and Small/Local Business Utilization Policy, insurance requirements, bonds, Maritime and Aviation Project Labour Agreement, please refer to Document 00100, Invitation to Bid, of the Project Manual.
