The work includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of the water main, either by the burst insertion method, or by the trench method, as well as all related work. The works will extend over a length of +- 2,000 metres. This project will be carried out within the framework of the TECQ program. The awarding of the contract is therefore conditional on obtaining the subsidy, financing from the Municipality and obtaining the other required authorizations (if necessary; loan by-law, etc.). The Tenderer who will be awarded the contract must carry out the work according to the plans and specifications produced by the FQM on January 11, 2023. The Municipality does not undertake to accept the lowest tender, nor any of the tenders received, and it declines all responsibility with regard to one or the other of the Tenderers in the event of rejection of all the tenders. The contract is awarded by decision of the Council of the Municipality, at its sole discretion, and the Municipality cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its Council. Tenderers with an establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of markets applicable to the Municipality within the framework of this call for tenders, namely the Accord Quebec- Ontario (ACCQO), the Quebec-New York Agreement (AQNY) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). A bid bond of 10% of the submitted price must accompany the bid.
