Renovation of a municipal facility in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,052-square-foot municipal facility.

Bid prices must remain valid for ninety (90) days after the public opening of the bids. Goods and services proposed shall meet all requirements of the Ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida. Scope of Work: The work in general includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision required to perform surface preparation, surface repair, caulking, sealants, patching, miscellaneous incidentals, and application of the paint and primer coating to the interior of City Hall. The interior includes but is not limited to the currently painted portions of the interior: main lobby areas, hallways, restrooms, kitchen, offices, conference rooms, baseboards, doors, door trim, and window trim, two (2) stairwells, and 2 offices and hallways located on the second floor. The entire wall surfaces and trim work that reach to the ceiling of the second floor, and ceiling with the exception of dropped ceilings. The interior is fully furnished, and furniture will be moved by the contractor to allow access to all surfaces requiring surface preparation, repairs and coatings, and will be repositioned to its original location by the contractor. The City will disconnect electronic equipment, and remove wall hangings to allow the contractor accessto paint behind these areas. The City will reconnect electrical equipment and reposition wall hangings. The interior is 8,052 square feet. Project to be completed within 30 days of start date. Accompanying this Bid is a certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% made payable to the Owner which may be forfeited as liquidated damages if, in the event this proposal is accepted, the undersigned fails to execute the Agreement and furnish and pay for the required performance and payment bonds for the Owner within 10 days after acceptance of the Bid; otherwise said certified or cashier's check or bid bond will be returned to the undersigned. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. Bid prices must remain valid for ninety (90) days after the public opening of the bids. The undersigned further agrees to forfeit to the Owner, as liquidated damages for each calendar day elapsing between the date established as the date of final completion for the work and the actual date of final completion for the work, the amount of $200.00 per calendar day.
