The mission of Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation ("ECHDC") is to revitalize Western New York's waterfront and restore economic growth to Buffalo based on the region's legacy of pride, urban significance and natural beauty. Designated Operator will assume sole responsibility for the daily operations of the Marina. It is intended that the Designated Operator will begin its operation of the Site (See Exhibit A - Site Map) at execution of an agreement ("Contract") for a period of ten years with an option for two individual, five year renewal options at the sole discretion of ECHDC. Deadline for Submission of Questions August 17, 2022 by 8:00 PM EST Deadline for ESD to Respond to Questions August 19, 2022 Anticipated Contract Start Date* April 1, 2023 ECHDC reserves the right to make any and all decisions regarding the selection of proposals submitted, as well as the capacity to consider proposals received after the deadline.
