Description

Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Sealed bids for Arcadia Elementary School Additions will be received from Pre-Qualified Contractors. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of 5% of the base bid payable to Spartanburg County School District Six, Board of Trustees. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of Thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the consent of the owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Applicants must have a current contractor's license in the state of South Carolina and must be qualified under the provision of the contractor's licensing law (1962 Code, Section 56-402-28 as amended) This project is covered under provisions of code of laws of South Carolina (1976 Title 40, Chapter 11) and as amended The list of the Pre-Qualified General & Sub Contractors is included in the construction documents. All other sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc. shall meet the requirements of the plans and specifications.
