Time and Place of Opening Bids. Sealed proposals for Snow and Ice Control Services for the Village of Round Lake, Lake County, Illinois, will be received at the Village Hall. Description of Work. The proposed work consists of snow plowing on Village streets for the 2022-2023 winter season and as described in the Contract Documents. The Village of Round Lake is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. 4. Rejection of Bids. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
