The Project ahs been awarded to multiple Contractors: AWARDED CONTRACTORS Currituck Homes - 270,239.53 DSW Homes - 48,179.59 G&N Construction - 280,885.06 Shepherd Response - 350,139.25 TOTAL = $949,743.43 The North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency (NCORR), a division of the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (DPS), is soliciting bids from prime construction contractors to perform, or cause to be performed: rehabilitation and rehabilitation plus elevation of eligible structures through NCORR recovery programs. NCORR was established to receive and administer any grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to North Carolina for the purposes of recovering from a major disaster and mitigating future storm impact. NCORR manages all aspects of these grants, including planning and policy development, recovery program administration, compliance and monitoring, program financial management, and grant closeout. The programs that NCORR administers under the CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT grants include, but are not limited to: single family home repair, eligible repair reimbursement, rehabilitation, and reconstruction; repair and replacement of manufactured homes; repairs to public infrastructure; rehabilitation of public housing units; rehabilitation of multifamily rental housing units; buyouts and acquisition of flood-prone properties; and the small business recovery loan program.
