St. Charles Parish is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQs) from individuals and/or firms interested in providing Engineering Staff Augmentation services. St. Charles Parish currently is implementing an aggressive Infrastructure Improvement Program, which includes projects in Roadway, Drainage Conveyance, Pump Stations, and Sewer Facilities. In order to keep the Program on schedule, St. Charles Parish has decided to augment its current Engineering Staff by soliciting full time engineering support through this RFQ. St. Charles Parish will select an individual from the proposed candidates provided by the responding firms to work full time at the St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works office in Destrehan, Louisiana. The selected candidate will be integrated into the current engineering staff and will work under the direction of the Public Works Director and Senior Parish Engineer. The minimum requirements for selection shall be as follows: The firm must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in providing professional services in Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering. The firm must hold all licenses necessary to legally provide Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering services in the State of Louisiana. The proposed candidates for Engineering Augmentation must be a licensed Professional in either Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience. For each proposed candidate a resume showing the candidates experience should be provided. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
