Site work for a civil project in Easttown Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Project generally consists of retrofitting an existing stormwater conveyance trench into a bioswale that meets PA BMP standards. Work generally comprises but is not limited to regrading swale embankments and bottom, placing rip-rap, placing amended soils, planting of bioswale seeding mix, placing NAG C125BM erosion control blanket, and restoration to areas disturbed within and outside of the project limits by construction operations. The apparent low bidder and the next two lowest bidders must submit, to the Engineer, originals of the Bidding Documents within two (2) business days from the date of the bid opening. Question Deadline: 08/31/2022 at 2:00 PM ET Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for (10) percent of the Bid total. Questions will be accepted until 2:00 P.M, prevailing time, on August 29, 2022; All questions must be submitted through PennBid. The General Conditions sets forth Owner's requirements as to Performance and Payment Bonds to be provided by the Contractor. When the apparent Successful Bidder delivers the signed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by the required Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, on the forms provided in the Bidding Documents. Substitute Bond forms are not acceptable The Work shall be substantially completed within 150 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in General Conditions Paragraph 2.03.A, as amended by Supplementary Conditions Paragraph SC-2.03.A, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Accordingly, instead of requiring any such proof, Owner and Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty) Contractor shall pay Owner $500 for each calendar day that expires after the time specified in Paragraph 2.1 above for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete. After Substantial Completion, if Contractor shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the time specified in Paragraph 2.1 above for completion and readiness for final payment or any proper extension thereof granted by Owner, Contractor shall pay Owner $500 for each calendar day that expires after the time specified in Paragraph 2.1 above for completion and readiness for final payment
