BC Transit invites interested parties to submit Responses to provide Design and Contract Administration services as further described in section 4 of this Request for Standing Arrangement (RSA). The Services required by BC Transit are from time to time and could be comprised of architectural, mechanical, electrical or similar engineering design, along with related Quantity Surveying. Respondents with experience in providing the Services are encouraged to respond. The Services are to be provided on an as, if and when requested basis and no representations, commitments or guarantees are made with respect to the timing, number or value of Service Requests that may be issued from a Standing Arrangement(s) with Contractor(s) over the Term. A Standing Arrangement established pursuant to this RSA does not confer an exclusive right to provide the Services to BC Transit. BC Transit reserves the right to procure the Services by any other means, including use of other agreements, or by other procurement or contracting methods. BC Transit intends to enter into Standing Arrangements with the top five (5) highest scoring Respondents who meet all mandatory criteria and minimum scores. BC Transit reserves the right to enter into fewer than five (5) Standing Arrangements if fewer than five (5) Respondents meet all the mandatory criteria and minimum scores, if any. The anticipated Term of the Standing Arrangement is three (3) years and will contain an option to extend whereby BC Transit reserves the right, at its sole option, to extend the Standing Arrangement for up to three (3) additional Terms of 1 year each.
