Question Deadline 10/11/2024 at 5:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes The Mesa County Public Works Department is soliciting competitive bids for the 32 1/2 Road and Clifton Campus Roadway Improvement Project. Please see the solicitation documents for information. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers received in response to this solicitation and to waive any irregularities as may be in the best interest of the County. The project consists of roadway and drainage improvements on 32 1/2 Road to the north and south of E road and D 3/4 Road at Chuker Way as well as bridge replacement at the Grand Valley Irrigation Canal. The roadway improvements include the removal of existing asphalt mat, construction of roadway typical section and widening to include sidewalks, curb and gutter. The intersection of E Road and 32 1/2 Road will be a compact roundabout that includes concrete paving, concrete medians, sidewalk and curb ramps, drainage and waterline replacement. The existing bridge on 32 1/2 crossing the Grand Valley canal will be removed and replaced with a new concrete box girder bridge with wing walls.
