Town of Crested Butte seeks qualifications from firms/teams for services to design and build an expanded and renovated skate park in Big Mine Park, located in the south-western corner of the Town of Crested Butte. The selected firm/team will create a design working with a local stakeholder group, the local skater community, and Town staff. The design will be based upon public and stakeholder input during a robust public planning process. Critical elements of this project include: An inclusive and transparent public design process Employment of green construction and carbon reduction practices throughout the design, construction, and operational phases Compliance with applicable building and accessibility codes, laws, and regulations Integration of cost estimation and construction feasibility with design for construction.
