Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,268-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The State reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. Phase one of this project renovates the first floor of Brooks Hall's Matsumoto Wing to create flexible research space for the College of Design and includes offices, collaborative space, a break area, and a K12 Lab. The scope also includes a new mechanical room with a central air handler that serves the renovated first floor and includes space for future AHUs, VAVs, distribution duct, utility chase, and a roof-mounted ERV that preconditions outside air. Addendum #1-#4 have been issued as of 12-4-2024. Renovation of the Ground Floor (Floor 1) of Brooks Hall - Matsumoto Wing at North Carolina State University. The project includes provisions for a mechanical room that will serve future renovation projects, and a new mechanical chase that runs from basement to roof. Reference Drawings.
