The Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) is requesting electronic Bid proposals from licensed, qualified, and experienced Contractors to provide on-call miscellaneous asphalt work for JCPRD at various park and recreation facilities, developments, and other site locations as required. It is anticipated that multiple Contractors may be approved and Contracts awarded as the result of this Bid Request. It is anticipated that the Contract(s) resulting from this Bid Request shall be time and materials type Contracts. The Contracts shall be structured as Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type Contracts, where separate purchase orders for the required work will be issued as the need arises. Each Bidder is not required to supply a price for every Bid item identified on the Bid proposal. The resulting contracts will include an initial annual contract term, with up to 4 mutually agreed upon annual renewals. The successful bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond and/or Statutory Bond equal to 100% of the contract. Such bond shall be executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Kansas and requires the appointment of a Kansas Resident Agent. Costs of bonds, if required, shall be reimbursed at actual cost by JCPRD. JCPRD reserves the right to award by item, groups of items, or on all or none basis; and reserves the right to reject any or all bids in part, or in its entirety, to waive any minor technicality or irregularities of bids received.
