Renovation of a mixed-use development in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,500-square-foot conference / convention center; and educational facility.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to replacement of approximately 13,500 square feet of roof, the removal and reinstatement of existing roof top equipment and the eventual replacement of existing roof top mounted cooling towers (x2) and the installation of a new condenser unit. The intent of the project is to replace the existing roof areas on the Donald Gordon Center, including, but not limited to, ballast, insulation, membrane, flashings, counter-flashings, drains and vents. The new roof will consist of an inverted, built-up, roof membrane system on the majority of the areas with 2-ply mod-bit roofing system on the remaining areas. The removal of the cooling towers and installation of the new condenser unit will likely need to take place at the end of the project schedule due to delivery lead times of equipment.
