The City is seeking a qualified and experienced firm to provide professional services leading to the drafting of a Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Core tasks will include coordination with City staff and elected officials, solicitation of public feedback regarding both the existing and proposed plans, background research involving public data and statistics related to the City and the region, and the actual drafting of the Plan itself. The Consultant will also be expected to prepare presentations on various aspects of the plan for the public and/or stakeholder groups. As currently envisioned, the 2023 Comprehensive Plan will lay out the City's strategies for Land Use and Development, Transportation, and the provision of Utility Services for all areas of the City. Proposals will be evaluated on a variety of criteria, including but not limited to the experience of both the firm and the project team, proposed schedule/timeline for the project, technical understanding and approach to the plan, and proposed project budget.
