Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Milwaukie, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Capital projects constructed in South Downtown throughout 2018 and 2019 created a new plaza adjacent to the park and the addition of a retaining wall at the southern end as Main Street passes under the railroad overcrossing. Through a joint planning project with NCPRD, a framework plan has been created to help integrate Dogwood Park into the new built environment in South Downtown along with the Coho Point development site to the north. A framework plan completed by Lango Hansen identified preferred locations for a future play structure, small performance area, and picnic/outdoor seating. This project is included in the city's 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of August 17, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
