Bids are requested for individual divisions of work and are to be awarded separately: Div 1 - General/Concrete - Removal and Replacement of concrete roadway sections required to facilitate the replacement of the front gate system; Installation of new electrical duct banks to facilitate gate installation, Removal of failed asphalt roadway and repair with concrete; Install a new concrete chemical foundation pad for chemical feed into the Sodium Bisulfite building. Div 2 - Gates/Fencing - Removal of existing front entrance gate and replacement with cantilevered slide gate and electric actuators; includes 800 LF of removal and replacement of various sections of cyclone fencing and posts and gates around the treatment plant. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform such work, also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the public body or by the Department of Labor shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work.
