Renovation of a residential development in Manteo, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Dare County is seeking qualified firms to provide engineering services for the elevation of up to three homes, funded in part by a FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant. Homes are located in Kitty Hawk, Salvo, and Hatteras Village. The selected firm will provide engineering services including, but not limited to, feasibility studies, foundation plans, cost estimates, site visits, surveys, elevation certificates, and bid preparation documents. Plans shall be designed to satisfy local, State, and FEMA standards. Selection will be based on project approach, engineering qualifications, and past experience with similar projects. Dare County intends to select a qualified consultant to provide engineering services in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes. It will be the sole responsibility of the selected consultant to conform to any and all Federal Uniform Guidance Procurement Standards. Dare County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in accordance to North Carolina General Statutes The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
