Renovation of a museum in Manteo, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a museum.
As of April 10, 2024, this solicitation is currently under negotiations. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Exceptions: Full engineering design services associated with complete HVAC equipment replacement and renovation of the Quarantine and Main Building at the Roanoke Island Aquarium. Most HVAC equipment and ductwork systems are original to the building and deteriorated by salt corrosion. Failure of equipment will result in an extensive time without heating and / or cooling while replacement is being located. Total Project Budget $2,903,000 (with $1,600,000 in Available Funding). In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina.
