Renovation of a military facility in Otis, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

1. The 102d Intelligence Wing (IW) is installing a Clean Agent Fire Suppression System with Smoke/Fire detection and communication to HVAC components and the Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) Fire Department. 2. Scope of Work: 2.1 Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, material, and equipment to design and furnish B104, Rm. 8 (Server Room) with all components required for a fully functional clean agent system. 2.1.1 The measurements of the room and its location in relation to other areas of the building can be found in Attachment 1, B104 Floor Plan. 2.1.2 A list of required material submittals can be found in Attachment 2, AF Form 66, Material Submittal Sheet. 2.2 Design Requirements: 2.2.1 Contractor shall install system in accordance with UFC 3-600-01, Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities, dated 8 August 2016, incorporating Change 6, dated 6 May 2021, NFPA 2001, Standard on Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems, in addition to manufacturer's recommendations. 2.2.1.1 Contractor shall ensure that room is "air tight" and gas escapes room within limits set by designer. This includes walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. 2.2.1.2 System must connect to existing fire panel to allow Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) Fire Department to receive notifications of system alarm and discharge. 2.2.1.3 System must include all required equipment, wires, connections, and conduit to install an integrated smoke/fire detection system. 2.2.1.4 System must communicate with HVAC components to turn off air circulation and close ventilation/ducts upon notification of fire/smoke. 2.2.2 Contractor is responsible for all electrical work, controls, plumbing, equipment, and any other components to ensure fire system is fully functional and communicates with HVAC & JBCCFD. 2.2.3 Contractor shall provide design calculations to Base Civil Engineer (BCE) for review prior to install of the system. 2.2.4 Contractor shall provide record drawings of the completed system including piping, wiring, and called out equipment. 2.2.5 Contractor shall provide product data, marked for selection of products used, for all equipment prior to purchase and install. 2.2.6 Contractor shall submit all operating instructions and O&M Manuals prior to project closeout. 2.2.7 Contractor shall submit all required certifications and commissioning report to BCE prior to project closeout. 3.
