As of October 25, 2022, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. SAMTD is soliciting Proposals for construction services for infrastructure to support its Battery Electric Bus (BEB) program. The scope of this solicitation includes installation of new electrical service to support the charging infrastructure; installation of BEB charging equipment; installation of underground electrical infrastructure; demolition, excavation, and concrete work; site testing; and commissioning support, and all work as identified in PART 2 of this solicitation. Requests for Question Deadline: September 1, 2022 4:00PM PDT SCOPE 1. The scope of work for this project includes the following: a. Installation of a new electrical service to support the charging infrastructure upgrades. This shall include: 1) 2500MVA utility pad-mounted transformer 2) Service Entrance Equipment: 3000A, 480V, 3-phase, 4-wire switchboard, with utility metering section. b. Installation of electric bus charging equipment 1) The electric bus charging c. Installation of underground electrical infrastructure to support the electric bus charging equipment d. Demolition, excavation, and repairing of concrete driveway, curb, and island to support the installation of the new equipment e. Site testing and commissioning support.
