Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a transportation facility in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,840-square-foot transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and for the construction of a 8,070-square-foot, two-story above grade transportation facility.

Pre construction management services are required to support the design, engineering, and construction of the new, and renovation of the existing Combined Operations Building (COB) campus at Kelowna International Airport (YLW). The scope includes pre-con support for the design, renovate, and build a facility in a phased manner. The proposed development will encompass the existing facility and incorporate, the Cargo One facility and relocation of the NPS-V facility as identified in the Airport Master Plan 2045. The new facility will be designed to optimize efficiencies in both Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) and operational responses. The Airport Operations Centre (AOC) will be strategically located to maximize visibility to airside surfaces which will assist in providing efficient and timely responses for operational purposes. The proposed footprint is currently occupied by Cargo One. The lease of this building is set to terminate in the first quarter of 2024, which would allow the demolition and construction of the new facility immediately at that time.
