Renovation of a medical facility in Ogdensburg, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
DASNY is soliciting bids for the Fan Coil & Chiller Replacement Project at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center. The deadline for submitting questions shall be no later than: 5:00pm on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 Work consists of mechanical upgrades to Building 201 which includes the removal and replacement of vertical fan coil units serving the second floor office spaces and horizontal fan coil units serving entry vestibules and piping soffits. Branch piping work to support the fan coil unit replacements will require select ceiling and exterior soffit removal and replace on the floor below. Additional work includes the removal of the existing absorption chiller, cooling tower, chilled water pumps and condenser water pumps serving the building and the installation of a new chiller plant consisting of two grade mounted air-cooled chillers, a third roof mounted air cooled split chiller and new chilled water distribution pumps. New chilled water piping will be run across the roof of the building and will interconnect the new chilled water plant to the existing chilled water distribution system within the building. The estimated value of the Electrical Contract is $380,000 - $460,000. All individuals who plan to attend pre-bid meetings or bid openings in person will be required to complete and present a DASNY Visitor Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire, present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening. Individuals and entities submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. Please include your Federal ID number, telephone and fax numbers on your Bank Check or Postal Money Order. NOTE: Bid due date is subject to change if Contract Documents are not available when requested, therefore, please call to confirm the availability of Contract Documents. If the Contract Documents will not be picked up by the purchaser, the purchaser will need to provide an account number for shipping of the documents or send an additional non-refundable check for $20 payable to Camelot Print and Copy Centers. The bidder or its principals shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in similar work and five (5) contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity to this Project completed or substantially completed within the last ten (10) years.
