The City of Twentynine Palms (City) is seeking proposals from qualified manufacturers, which are regularly engaged full-time in the manufacture or production of this and similar items and have a history of successful manufacture or production acceptable to the owner (City). Proposals will provide for design and installation services for the Project Phoenix Community Center Buildings permanent, manually operated telescoping bleachers (Project). The manufacturer will act as the project manager responsible for architecture, design, engineering and installation required for securing entitlements and building permits, construction documents, construction observation and services associated with the design, manufacture and installation of permanent telescoping manually operated bleachers at the Project Phoenix Community Center Gymnasium in the downtown area of the City. These services will be funded in part or in full, through a grant from the federal Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), administered by the City of Twentynine Palms. The primary purpose of CDBG program is the development of viable communities by providing decent housing, suitable living environments, and expanding economic opportunities, principally for low and moderate-income people. The manufacturer selected will be responsible for complying with certain terms and conditions of the federal grant (see Bid Packet Documents).
