The Berkeley Campus of the University of California is seeking a Roofing Consultant ("Consultant") to perform design services and other support services as required by the Executive Design Professional Agreement ("EDPA") for the following roofing replacement projects: Weill Hall: Full flat roof replacement (not including sloped tile roofing), anticipated new roofing is built up; lightweight concrete underlayment moisture testing and mitigation as needed; flashing replacement (galvanized), roof drain testing and replacement as needed; majority of roofing material resides under and around extensive rooftop mechanical equipment including extensive piping and raised walkway; site coordination and documentation as needed to identify unique conditions. Latimer Hall: Roof replacement of penthouse roof with upper and lower penthouse roof areas as add alternates; new roofing is anticipated to be PVC; flashing replacement (galvanized); gutter assessment (anticipated to remain); insulation replacement; roof drain testing and replacement as needed. The University anticipates proceeding with the project on an aggressive schedule. Construction to start in June 2023. Deadline for questions August 19, 2022 2:00 pm PST.
