Site work for a water / sewer project in Fountain, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Remove and replace approximately 320-feet +/- of 8" dia. concrete trust pipe with a 8" dia. PVC pipe. Five service lines will have to be reconnected to the proposed PVC pipe. Approximately 40-feet of one service line (Lot 9) will have to be removed and replaced with 4" sanitary sewer pipe. The inverts of two existing manholes will need to be modified to accept a new water-tight seal for the PVC pipe. Also, during construction the contractor will be responsible for pumping raw wastewater from the upstream manhole to the nearest downstream manhole. Best management practices should be used to keep soil out of the storm drainage inlets. Any asphalt that is removed will need to be replaced per City of Fountain requirements.
