Bids shall be prepared and submitted on the prescribed forms in accordance with instructions contained in the Instructions to Bidders and General Provisions (Section 20) Divisions of the Project Manual. The Bucks County Airport Authority expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the same. Each bidder must deposit with his/her proposal a bid security in an amount equal to at least 10% of the Bid. Said security shall be in the form and subject to the conditions given in Section 20 of the General Provisions. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Successful bidders, must enter into the Agreement and furnish a Contract Bond and evidence of required insurance with fifteen (15) days after notification acceptance of such proposals, all as more specifically required in the Contract Documents. Wages as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and included in the specifications and contract documents and/or addenda thereto shall be used by the CONTRACTOR in paying labor in connection with the work under this contract. All work under this contract shall be subject to the regulations contained in Division 8 of the Project Manual. The project range is $350,000 - $400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. PennDOT Grant No: TA-ACB-2022-Bucks Co AA-00006 (Design and Constr.) This project consists of the rehabilitation of pavement at the Doylestown Airport. The project has been separated into a Base Bid and two Add Alternates. The Base Bid involves removing asphalt pavement and replacing it with asphalt pavement near the Airport's Terminal Building. Add Alternate No. 1 involves removing and replacing asphalt pavement near the existing Thangars on the Northern side of the airport. Finally, Add Alternate No. 2 includes the installation of underdrain near the pavement repair areas of Add Alternate No. 1. Once the pavement has been repaired, pavement markings will be placed.
