Site work and paving for a civil project in Cavan-Monaghan, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
The Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the "County") is requesting tender submissions for the removal of MacIntosh Bridge over Jackson Creek. The following is a brief description of the work, but not limited to: - Establish traffic control in advance of permanent full closure of Preston Road (maintaining local resident access). - Remove existing steel girder, timber decked bridge, including partial remove of existing substructure, and approach guide rail, etc. - Place new washed rip-rap erosion control measures at abutment removal areas. - Complete in-place full depth reclamation of existing surface treated roadway between limits of closure and regrade for new multi-use trail. - Install guide rail, closure gate, and signage for new road closures. - Complete placement of new granulars and roadway widening for construction of new turn-arounds.
