The Borough is seeking qualified contractors to perform winter maintenance of approximately 1.00 miles of Borough Streets including Plowing and salting all streets in the Borough, clearing ramp in front of Borough Hall, police parking area and the sidewalks surrounding Borough Hall, the cut-out parking spaces on Market Street and all fire hydrants in the Borough including those along Market Street, as directed by Millbourne Borough staff. The Base Contract will be for a period of two (2) years with three one (1) year Borough Options to extend the contract for a total of five (5) years. All Forms and Papers required to accompany the bid must be up-loaded to portal prior to the date and time bids are to be received. The successful Bidder will be responsible to pay fees associated with the portal Program. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Contractor Performance Bond and a Labor and Materialmen Bond in an amount not less than Twenty-Five Thousand (25,000) Dollars. The Surety Company and form of surety shall be subject to the approval of Millbourne Borough Solicitor. The Bond Company should have no less than an rating (Best Rating) and provide documentation of their authority to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition, the Bond should be provided without a reinsurer. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the receiving and opening of bids. The Borough of Millbourne reserves the right to accept any or all bids or parts thereof, or to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, for any cause whatsoever, as they deem for the best interest of the Borough. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) made payable to the order of the Borough of Millbourne
