Site work for a water / sewer project in Wailuku, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Contractor shall supply, furnish, and pay for all labor, transportation, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to construct in place and complete all work as shown and called for in the Contract Documents (as defined in Paragraph 1.04 of the General Conditions). Contract Documents are maintained and on file in the office of the Director of Finance of the County of Maui, and all of the documents are hereby incorporated by reference as if fully repeated herein and made a part of this Contract. The project involves constructing approximately 3,520 linear feet of new 12" ductile iron waterline to replace an existing segment of 6" waterline, 1,820 linear feet of new 8" ductile iron waterline to replace an existing segment of 6" and 4" waterline, including fire hydrants, service connections, and valves, in place complete. Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering "A" Contractor's License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the "County of Maui", and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended. Bidders are required to comply with the newest procurement code Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 103D, any rules and regulations and policy directives issued with respect to Chapter 103D, and any amendments thereof
