Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering "A" Contractor's License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the "County of Maui", and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended. The Project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as necessary to: Erect (and dismantle) a temporary steel water tank and related waterline piping to bypass the existing 3-Million Gallon Clearwell Welded Steel Water Tank; repair/refurbish areas within the interior 3-Million Gallon Clearwell Welded Steel Water Tank due to excessive corrosion; installation of a new baffle curtain within the Clearwell; preparation of interior surfaces; and the application of interior coatings, in-place complete.
