Site work for a water / sewer project in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Pittsylvania County Public Works is requesting bids for the construction of approximately 24,550 LF of new 6" C900 PVC waterline to serve existing residents along Horseshoe Road. The waterline will connect where the existing waterline ends on the west side of the intersection of Hyler Farm Lane and Horseshoe Road. The new waterline will immediately cross under Horseshoe Road to the east side, and continue south along the "outside of the horseshoe" to Grays Park Road. The waterline will cross Grays Park Road to the north side, and continue east until tying into the existing waterline near the intersection of US 58. All waterline will be within existing VDOT right-of-way within the grassed shoulder of the road, and will include trenchless means to cross streams and roads.
