The City of Danville invites any qualified Bidder to respond to this ITB by submitting a Bid for such work, service, and/or items consistent with the terms and conditions herein set forth. The City reserves the right to award to multiple Bidders. Lead Safe Danville is a HUD funded program designed to reduce lead poisoning in children age five (5) and under by stabilizing lead-based paint hazards found in rental and singlefamily homes built in Danville prior to 1978. Lead Hazard Control Activities and Healthy Homes Services are helping remove or lessen household dangers. Education and Outreach effortsfor Danville residents will help further the efforts of the Program. Lead Safe Danville's goal is to provide lead hazard reduction services to eighty-three (83) homes through scraping and repainting, window replacements, soil cleanup as well as promote healthy home initiatives such as fire/safety, asbestos, asthma, pest management, mold/moisture and radon issues that plague our communities. Thus, the Lead Safe Danville Program enhances our neighborhoods and communities with sustainable, lead safe, healthy homes in the City of Danville while educating the public on lead poisoning prevention and Healthy Home Initiatives. The work and services for the Lead Safe Danville Program will be subject to the HUD terms and conditions provided herein. All work and services for the City under the Lead Safe Danville Program shall be provided and performed in accordance with all applicable terms, conditions, and specifications. The term of any resultant Contract will be for six (6) months, from March, through September, at which time it will terminate, unless sooner terminated pursuant to the terms of the Contract or by law or unless renewed as set forth in such Contract.
