A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Traverse City hereby solicits proposals from qualified sign design firms to work with City of Traverse City Staff and stakeholders to develop park sign design template options that fit within functional and aesthetic parameters (color schemes, sizing, etc.) established by the City. A selection of sample designs will be narrowed down through a public process to a final selection. The desire is to develop design templates and a manual as outlined below: A digital design manual that will include the following:
1. Park Name Sign
2. Park Rules Sign (adaptable to multiple sizes)
3. Park Directional Sign
4. Pictogram Standards
5. Wayfinding signage, size, material
6. Graphic Standards
7. Environmental Education template for future design
8. Fabrication Specifications
9. Installation Specifications The City of Traverse City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and to accept the bids either on an entire or individual basis that is in the best interest of the City. The City accepts no responsibility for any expense incurred by the Bidder in the preparation and presentation of a bid. Such expenses shall be borne exclusively by the Bidder. Only the successful Bidder will be notified. Please note that if you have previously submitted an informal quote, you will still need to submit a sealed bid prior to the date and time specified above in order to be considered.
