Transportation Region/Bureau: Southeast Region Route : Var Hwy County : 82 - Southeast Region Wide Solicitation ID: SE-07 Limit : Various Projects Within Se Region The Southeast Region requires part time assistance to perform freeway lighting design as an extension of WisDOT staff. Provide one part-time engineer (ideally 5-12 years design experience) to work on final design tasks 16-24 hours per week at WisDOT's Southeast Region office.
The ideal candidate will be available to work primarily from the SE Region Office, but remote work will be considered The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Information on the report may be found at Website. Advertised Fixed Fee %: 7.25 Solicitation ID: SE-07 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
