Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a four (4) year noncompetitive contract with Fluid Control Specialties, LLC., in the amount of $174,424.69, for the purchase of advanced wastewater, water, and reclaim treatment parts and services provided by DeZurik/APCO/Hilton, Rotork Controls, Inc., and Cla-Val Company, which are represented by Fluid Control Specialties, LLC, for the county's potable water, reclaim, and wastewater facilities throughout Hillsborough County. This procurement is being made in accordance with the County's Procurement Policy Section 3-208 (2) and is considered a sole source to maintain interchangeability and compatibility as a part of the existing integrated water systems, the recommended vendor is the designated sales representative for these products and services in the state of Florida, and the equipment and services are only reasonably available from Fluid Control Specialties, LLC.
