Work includes resurfacing and concrete pavement repairs and asphalt shoulder resurfacing on southbound and northbound lanes. Additional work includes resurfacing of existing asphalt turn lanes, culvert work, tree clearing and pavement markings. The work will be done under traffic utilizing single-lane closures. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract.
