Description of the Project is as follows: This Project consists of 2 locations, Location 1 - West Ann Rutledge Drive, and Location 2 - Main Street. LOCATION 1 WORK includes 328 cu yd Earth Excavation 334 cu yd Removal and Disposal of Unsuitable Material 684 ton Rock Fill Subgrade 1,000 sq yd Geotechnical Fabric for Ground Stabilization 1,019 ton Subbase Granular Material 2,968 sq yd Portland Cement Concrete Pavement 10" (Jointed) 2,785 sq yd Pavement Removal 662 foot Combination Curb and Gutter Removal 499 sq yd Median Removal 934 foot Pipe Underdrains 59 foot Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter 280 sq ft Concrete Median 1,850 foot Thermoplastic Paint Pavement Marking 1,167 sq yd Seeding (Complete) 1 lump sum Trafic Control and Protection, (Special) Various other items to complete the work. LOCATION 2 WORK includes 556 sq yd Welded Wire Reinforcement 590 foot Combination Curb and Gutter Removal 556 sq yd Class C Patches 590 foot Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter 2,536 foot Paint Pavement Marking 100 sq yd Seeding (Complete) 1 lump sum Trafic Control and Protection, (Special) Various other items to complete the work. Attention is called to the fact that only bid proposals that cover ALL THE WORK will be accepted and read aloud by the Village. Partial bids will not be accepted. Bid proposals shall be accompanied by data suficient for the Village to evaluate the bidder's qualiications to do the work, including but not limited to a list of 3 projects for units of government similar in size, cost, and scope in which the Bidder was the prime contractor and completed in the past 5 years. References for such projects, including name, position, phone number and if available, e-mail address, shall also be provided with the proposal. Failure to supply the project information will be considered an incomplete bid proposal and withdrawn from consideration. Attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Law. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Furthermore, this contract is available to minority and women contractors. Bidders shall actively solicit minority and women subcontractors and shall maintain records of their solicitation process. Attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to the Public Construction Bond Act, 30 ILCS 550/1, and the successful bidder shall be required to provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of the contract in such form and manner as required by that Act. A certiied check or bank draft, payable to the Village of Williamsville, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid for each Contract. The Village reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, any or all bid items, or to waive any informalities in the bidding, and/or award process. Bids may be held by the Village for a period of 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualiications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
