The work shall consist of roadway resurfacing including 20,309 pounds of Bituminous Materials (Prime & Tack Coat), 865 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, Mix D, IL-9.5, N50, 1,100 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, IL-19.0, N50, 8,315 square yards of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Removal (var. types), and other related work. Prequalification of Bidders in accordance with the applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6) will be required of all bidders on this proposal. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Village or the Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work as indicated in the special provisions to the specifications. MBE/WBE/PBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the amount of not less than five percent of bid, or as provided in applicable parts of Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals (Check Sheet LRS 6). The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. This project consists of the resurfacing of various streets within the Diamond Pointe Subdivision including Diamond Pointe Drive, Fountainview Drive and Walnut Street, in the Village of Mundelein as shown on the location maps and in the Project Summary. The total length of the improvement is 2.280 feet or 0.43 miles. The work shall include, but not limited to, hot-mix asphalt surface removal, hot-mix asphalt surface course, concrete curb and gutter replacement, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as described herein
