Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Rossland, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project shall be constructed in the Harry Lefevre Square located on Columbia Ave. opposite Washington Street. The structure consists of covered bicycle storage and an enclosed washroom. The structure is a mix of heavy timber elements and light wood framed construction with some masonry clad elements. Due to the proximity of a retaining wall adjacent to the structure, the pad and strip footings are stepped to not impart load the retaining wall.
