Working plans call for the addition of a medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the construction of a 7,000-square-foot medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Project Description: The UWMC Montlake Surgery Pavilion Expansion is a multi-phased project involving demolition and construction of 7,000 SF, consisting of two Operating Rooms, Operating Room Pharmacy, Anesthesia Work Room, Operating Room Sterile Core, Staff Toilet. Rooms, and Staff Lounge/Kitchen. Operating Room Pharmacy and Anesthesia Work Room will need to remain opera-tional throughout construction. The enabling project to renovate space for the OR Administration suite to level one will procured, separately and will not be part of the design builder contract. The project budget is $9 million. The target budget for all work to be provided under the design-build contract is $6.3 million.
